Welcome

MSC Chairman John Nirenstein answers television star Jerry Seinfeld's questions regarding the 2012 Marin Sonoma Concours event during Porsche Rennsport Reunion lV.
I look forward to seeing the smiles on the visitor’s faces at the fourth annual Marin Sonoma Concours d’Elegance. In my new role as Chairman I am especially excited about some of the changes we will be exhibiting at this year’s show. It is our goal to make our event one of the most luxurious and exclusive automotive events in the western United States. This year’s show will extend over three days and include a Friday Evening Chairman’s Dinner, Saturday’s “Tour d’Elegance” drive through Marin and Sonoma Counties, and culminate in the Concours on Sunday.
Sunday’s event will feature the theme of French Coach Builders and Italian Design Studios – you will experience the most elegant and sophisticated automobiles from the height of the French Art Deco period as well as the inspired Italian designs of Pininfarina, Zagato, and Bertone. We will also feature a great display of closed wheel race cars from the 50s and 60s, a large display of Military vehicles, and for the first time vintage motorcycles.
The 2012 Marin Sonoma Concours d’Elegance is made possible by our generous sponsors and hard-working volunteers with the proceeds benefitting charities in Marin, Sonoma, and San Francisco Counties.
I would also like to take the time to offer a special thanks to Charles Goodman, our past Chairman for his tireless efforts in making this event possible. I am committed to doing my best to ensure that Charlie’s legacy will continue to benefit our community for many years to come.
I look forward to seeing you all on the field!
John Nirenstein
Chairman
