Guests purchasing VIP admission to the 2012 Marin Sonoma Concours d’Elegance will enjoy entry to the Concours and to the VIP Pavilion open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Coffee, juice and breakfast pastries will welcome our morning guests followed by a French-inspired catered luncheon beginning at 11:30 a.m., accompanied by wines from Rodney Strong Wine Estates, our exclusive VIP Pavilion wine sponsor. VIP parking is included with VIP admission as well as entry at the VIP entry gate.

Join Concours Chairman John Nirenstein as he hosts this exclusive dinner and auction at the new Ram’s Gate Winery in Sonoma, Calif. Billed as “bringing together the best in wine, architecture, interior design, food and unprecedented guest experience,” the chefs at Ram’s Gate Winery will present a culinary event of distinction for Chairman’s Dinner guests. A Bugatti Veyron, the automobile that set the land speed record for production cars will be on display as will a 1938 Talbot-Lago T 150 C SS “Goutte d’Eau” from the Mullin Automotive Museum collection. Guests will have the unique opportunity to bid on a tour of Jay Leno’s car collection in his “Big Dog Garage” complete with two tickets to attend the Tonight Show. Also up for bid will be a “ride and drive” in a Bugatti Veyron and a private back lot tour of Pixar Studios. An extraordinary evening is planned for all – definitely this year’s don’t miss ticket.

Item #001: A Ride and Drive in a Bugatti Veyron. Drive Infineon’s world famous 4.06 km road course in a Bugatti Veyron, the automobile that set the land speed record for production cars at a mere 267.81 mph. Your first trip around the track with a professional driver will teach you the finer points of handling a $2,400,000 piece of machinery. Once you’ve witnessed how to finesse the twists of Infineon’s 12-turn course, it will be your opportunity to get behind the wheel. Of course, considering the speeds you’ll be traveling, a pilot’s license is recommended, but not required.
Item #002: A private tour of Jay Leno’s car collection. Pay a visit to glamorous Burbank, Calif where you’ll enjoy a private tour of Jay Leno’s infamous ”Big Dog Garage” complete with four tickets to attend a taping of the Tonight Show. Of course no promises the main Big Dog will be in attendance on the tour, but do say hello for us while attending his show.
